Founded in 1980, Vienna’s biggest theatre for children performs puppet shows for children aged 3 to 10. The repertoire is characterised by the unique style of foundress and art director Traude Kossatz who has become a trademark over the years. Since 1997 Austria’s biggest puppet theatre is situated in Vienna’s third district and every year some 35000 visitors come to see one of the 360 brilliant shows. The program focuses on 25 own productions and is rounded off by guest performances of national and international artists.
